When our grants are in action, they're shaping lives – one student at a time. Catch a glimpse when we inspire educators to provide extraordinary learning opportunities below:

  • Silly Nilly Clown Club helped promote the art of clowning to Junior Joeys at C. H. Bird and allowed the club to offer scholarships to any student interested.

  • Crafting for a Cause is an afterschool crafting club started by Xue Vang and Sally Keyel at Bird Elementary that teaches the importance of giving back while having fun with crafts.

  • JusTMe, a motivational coach, taught Sun Prairie elementary students mindfulness activities to empower their future.

  • MARC MERO, An empowering motivational speaker, discussed the power of positive choices and made a profound impact on over 2,500 students’ lives.

  • Students from Prairie Phoenix Academy partnered with DAMA, Sun Prairie Youth Collaborative, SPEF and area businesses to create a historical mural for the old baseball concession stand in Angel Park.

  • The Snake (a.k.a Emily) is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and has worked as a Interpretive Naturalist for the Minnesota DNR. Now today she shares her love and knowledge of reptiles with children all over the state of Wisconsin!

*  Calvin Terrell  speaks to SPHS students about the power of having an open mind and working together with people who do and don't share your same beliefs.
