Westside Creative Writing Club
 Westside
teacher Nicole Rainey and Glenn Fenske of the board hold a check given
in support of her Creative Writing Club. Schools of Hope
volunteers, together with a small group of 3rd-5th graders, will meet
once a week after school for themed creative writing activities. As
the year progresses, the activities will build on each other, allowing
student to grow as writers. The volunteers will be community members
and will help facilitate activities, give writing advice, and serve as
mentors and positive role models for the students.
